Computer Lab

IT Setup :
Computing facilities at IMR use powerful computers for providing support for diverse computing requirements, access to bibliographic databases and archives for rapid retrieval of relevant information and for updating and dissemination of academic and research material.
The entire campus has been Wi-Fi enabled to provide mobility to the users in accessing various services available on institute's network.All the Classrooms, Library, Computer Centre and Seminar Hall have been enabled with indoor wireless network.

Hardware Infrastructure :
There are more than 380 High End personal computers connected over the campus LAN under some of the latest Network Operating Systems running on some of the latest 12 Servers.
Network printing facility is available on a wide variety of printers such as Inkjet, Laser and Dot Matrix Printers. All these printers can be accessed from anywhere in the campus. Other equipment available in the centre include CD/DVD Writers, High quality Scanners and 27 LCD Projectors.

Software Tools :
An environment of wide variety of operating systems such as Windows XP Professional, Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows 2003 Server and LINUX has been established at IMR to make students familiar with latest operating systems.
A wide range of latest software tools and office automation packages such as Visual Studio, JAVA, Macromedia Dreamweaver CS4, Flash, SPSS, MS Office 2003/2007, Oracle 8i, Developer 2000, DB2, CorelDraw etc. have been made available for the users.
